#531 Temagami Memories

Lady Evelyn, Temagami - Oil on Canvas

This past week. The sad sad news of no summer camp this year due to COVID-19, has left many saddened hearts. I painted this from heart, from my memory of our nurses canoe trip in 2013 on Lady Evelyn. One never tires of the rocky shorelines, the powerful skies feeling like you could just reach up and touch, the pristine lakes and the evening loons. The serenity is pure and I kept this colour palette true to its view. Here’s to summer 2021! A new beginning
