Lake Rosseau, Muskokas - Oil on Canvas

A late summer blue sky among the changing of foliage color can be striking. I wanted to capture this using these cooler blues. My daughter visits her friend at her cottage on Lake Rosseau and I’m fortunate to get these beautiful photos from her family. With only the foliage and sky, this painting is dramatic. I loved painting this, it was so liberating and loose, I used colour blocking and shapes to achieve what I wanted. So fun and playful.
