Oil on Canvas (SOLD)

I feel a shift with my work; it feels challenging and experimental. It’s a satisfying feeling to feel these glimpses of something “new” on the horizon. This painting feels very impressionistic compared to my mixed realism/impressionism. It feels organic in a way that it came from how I felt and what I saw. It took hours snd hours to get to a place where I felt it was done. My memory here, is hiking with my daughter Tori in the fall a few years ago. The challenge here was colour, as my mind continues to step outside the box of comfort. Hope you enjoy it.
