Oil on Canvas

This painting is inspired from a photo taken during Thanksgiving weekend of 2019. My family and I spent it camping, and although we didn’t have all our five children there, those that could make it did made it special. Setting aside the big turkey dinner, we opted to camp. Chilly at night with a fire going all day and evening, laughs, outdoor games and hikes, peak of the changing of colours, and memories brought up from the kids childhood. Roasting marshmallows is all we needed to give thanks. There is a variety of colour in this painting lending true to its story.
